Greetings from Vienna
Yesterday (Sunday) we arrived in Vienna after our R&R at Lake Lipno in southern Czech Republic.
This post is photo heavy to make up for the lack of photos recently. We don't want to bore you all too much with the standard "we've been there and we've seen that" malarky. So, below is a vey quick scan of just under 1000 photos on my big 2GB memory card (thanks again Colin and Carrie), and are probably not the best of them but when you are paying for the internet in Vienna, I don't want to spend too much time picking and choosing. So, here goes...

OK, that will do for now. Another day here in Vienna, then we'll travel over towards Salzburg and some lovely places around the Austrian Alps our new Austrian friends we met at Lake Lipno told us about, then down to Italy, and onwards. Until then...

Loved the photos, especially the bend in the river. The van looks very swish. We might join you for a month or so. OK? Had lots of rain for the last few days and now we have 3 lovely sunny days to come. We've been everywhere around Perth with our visitors in the last week and now off to Rotto on Friday. Steve is off to Kalgoorlie for the Races from yesterday. 14 hour days with a bad back.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the sms from St. Marks Basilica. Hope I get to see these places some day!! Cara's been there and says its beautiful. Shown me the phtos of inside St Marks and it looks spectacular. Did you feed the pidgeons in the square? Cara says that Venice is lovely. Everything is ok at home and at work. Betty is settling into routine and things are working out well. Still miss you.

Just saw Bluey . Great Little Van with all mod cons.
Tonight we took my Cousins to Dad's cousins night and had a great time. I think they think we are all mad!!as we told stories about each other in our younger years. Denis had us in fits.

Digbys - we were in Venice on Sunday too - if only you could have SMS'ed us!! If you don't have a mobile, borrow somebody's to sms us on +61 409 682 886. Our current plans are in Assisi today (Tues 18th), to Amalfi coast tomorrow to spend 3 or 4 days, then to Pompeii, then Rome.
