More Planning
Last night we had friends of friends over to talk to us about Europe. Tom has been a professional travel guide for over 15 years, so he had some great tips. He knew all the little known places, as well as the well known places to recommend. It has helped a lot, because reading a Lonely Planet guidebook really only lists the cities or towns in each country and provides practical info about them. We needed some guidance about where to choose to go.At this point, this map above is sort of where we want to go, which is almost certain to change.

Day 1 of OnTrails Blog
I've been looking for a free Blog for our trip that has the features I want. I want a place for people to post me comments, see my photos etc. I want to easily update from the road. Ideally, for a new posting to be added by me from a mobile phone sms message (oh well, Blogger doesn't do that). I want a place to put my links for me to easily access from the road.This is our local beach, with our cocker spaniel Leo enjoying himself.
